I believe that the social inequality women have been experiencing for over 2,000 years stems from our patriarchal belief system. Did you know that God was worshipped as a woman during neolithic time, 4,000 - 6,000 years ago until a civilization of men won in battle and created Chrisitianity. Femininity and sexuality were then suppressed with this new religion/belief system. Is it no wonder we as humans have suppressed a part of ourselves in todays world?
SPIRITUAL EQUALITY = SOCIAL EQUALITY.
Everything that manifests outside ourselves first happens within through our thoughts/beliefs. The law of attraction.
This painting has been communicated and co-created by Spirit through the use of images/symbols. Images bypass the limitations of words and therefore becomes a universal language. This painting symbolizes my inner journey of finding the Truth of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine as being One. The figure is androgynous with both male and female being equal. We all have male and female energies within represented by the left brain and right brain. The left brain represents the masculine energy, analytical and taking action. The right brain represents the feminine energy, receptive, intuitive, creative and nurturing. The black and white face represents yin and yang, dark and light, female and male, physical and spiritual. The sun and moon represents the subconscious (moon) brought into the consciousness (sun) that shines the truth of spiritual equality. The physical body of the breast along with the phalic symbol arm represent the masculine and feminine energies found within manifested without. The inner spiritual world of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine, mirrors the outer physical world of both sexes. The hand and blue waves represents waving good bye to the old, archaic, dysfunctional belief of only a masculine God. The dolphins represent being playful and that God has unconditional love along with a sense of humour as symbolized by the smile. Dysfunctional now transforms itself into a FUNctional belief. The fish represents Christ consciousness. The tree trunk symbolizes The Tree of Knowledge, wisdom found within, along with environmental awareness for our Mother Earth. The birds represent freedom from spiritual abuse/bondage placed upon women and having a higher perspective of truth. The three stars represent the trinity: Mother, Father and Child. We are all children of God, created from the love of our Divine Parents. As above, so below. |
